MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini alleges that, some Cabinet Ministers take orders from Attorney General(AG) Sifiso Khumalo while Principal Secretaries(PSs) are more loyal to Simanga Mamba, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission(CSC).
This is contained in a leaked conversation between the PM and another high profile individual but, while some of these Prime Minister’s recorded conversations were released to the public some will not, to protect the identity of our sources.
The PM allegedly said, he had issued various orders to Cabinet Ministers and those orders were not implemented as the Ministers would first consult with the Attorney General claiming to be seeking legal advice and, if Khumalo says “no”, the order will not be implemented.
“This Government is corrupt but it’s hard to get the evidence against these corrupt individuals. Uyeva kutsiwa bani-nabani uyaganga, nawe ubone lokutsi vele uyaganga, kodvwa nasocela evidence kute bayafihlana labantfu bayi-syndicate. I am currently struggling to run this Government because there are many corrupt syndicates, I have to deal with that first and arrest these people. Attorney General and Simanga Mamba have their own Cabinet outside the real Cabinet, some Ministers and PSs take orders from them. Nangingatfola munye nje kulaba lababili ngimbophe acoshwe”, said the PM.
The PM declined to comment regarding these allegations.
But this is not the first allegation against the PM in plotting to arrest individuals who disagree with him politically or administratively, this Swaziland News previously published documents proving a plot to arrest Chief Justice Bheki Maphalala.
The CJ was targeted by an Anti Corruption Task Team established by the Prime Minister and led by Acting Anti Corruption Commission(ACC) Commissioner Maphevu Mkhatjwa.
