Protesting William Pitcher College students granted E1000 bail each

MANZINI: Xolani Maseko, thr President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) has confirmed that the William Pitcher College who were assaulted and subsequently arrested by the police on Monday in the midst of protests over allowances were released on bail on Tuesday.
These students include Lindelani Zwane, Bheki Mabuza, Phindokuhle Dlamini, Samkeliso Magagula, Siyabonga Dlamini, Thembela Simelane, Mbongeni Ngomane and Mciniseli Tshawuka.
The students were arrested in the midst of protests over delayed allowances by the government. Bongmenzi Mkhonta, the Secretary General of the William Pitcher Students Representive Council(SRC) told this Swaziland News that police assaulted the students after throwing teargas within their rooms.
