MBABANE:Savannah Maziya,the Minister of Information, Communications and Technology(ICT) has introduced a new Government Corporate Identity Manual and the revamped official Email System.
As reported by Government online platforms, the two(2) projects are aimed at redefining how Government communicates, ensuring that every interaction reflects professionalism, trust, and progress.
Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini was present during the launch of the Information Technology(IT) projects, the event was held at the Happy Valley Hotel-Ezulwini on Wednesday.
“The Eswatini Government Corporate Identity Manual gives a harmonised modern national brand that shows our commitment to serve with integrity and transparency while preserving our cultural heritage. The revamped Government email ensures enhanced security.The Government Corporate Identity Manual is not just a document; it is a comprehensive blueprint for our visual and communicative Identity. It embodies our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and transparency.This manual will guide every logo, colour palette, typeface and document format, ensuring all Government correspondence is consistent and reflects our core values while preserving our rich cultural heritage,”said the Information Minister.
The Minister further added that, in today's digital age, where cyber threats are ever-present and increasingly sophisticated, “the security of our communications is of paramount importance”.
She said, this revamped email system is not just a technical upgrade; it is a robust solution designed to safeguard our communications, ensuring that our data remains confidential and protected from external threats."
