MBABANE:Penuel Malinga,the Secretary General of eSwatini’s main and largest political party, the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has written a letter to the newly elected Botswana President Duma Boko, congratulating him after the historic election results.
Boko of the Umbrella for Democratic Change(UDC), took over as the new President after the historic elections last week that removed the ruling Botswana Democratic Party(BDP) from power.
“This election marks a historic shift, with the Umbrella for Democratic Change emerging victorious against the Botswana Democratic Party, which had been in power for 58 years”, reads the letter in part.
