MBABANE:Editor Zweli Martin Dlamini’s legal team led by Senior Advocate Myron Dewrance has filed a notice of application for conditional cross appeal, despite winning the defamation case against King Mswati and Eswatini Government.
The editor’s legal team filed the cross appeal notice last week after the King’s legal team filed own appeal against the Mpumalanga High Court judgement, that dismissed the Eswatini Government’s application with costs.
The Government was demanding to be given seven(7) days before responding to questionnaires and, the editor vigorously opposed that saying “it is a systematic strategy to delay news and collapse the Swaziland News”.
