NHLANZENI: Sakhile Awviva Nxumalo, the President of eSwatini main and largest political party, the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Youth League, the Swaziland Youth Congress(SWAYOCO) on Saturday addressed the Young Communist League 8th District Congress. 

Addressing delegates at Nhlanzeni during the Congress, Nxumalo said, for decades the people of eSwatini have been living under dehumanizing levels of oppression under the Tinkhundla undemocratic regime.

“We appeal to you comrades to stand in solidarity with our struggling oppressed young people carrying the burden and cries of all the marginalized and downtrodden people of Swaziland.For decades, the people of Swaziland have been living under dehumanizing levels of oppression perpetrated by the feudal and neo-colonial Tinkhundla system that has entrenched royal supremacy which guarantees the royal family and their friends control and unlimited access to state power and national resources. It is no coincidence that such a system was created in collaboration with the then apartheid government. For your information, currently the Swaziland Tikhundla government security forces are trained by a South African company called Baston Security, remnants of the apartheid brutal squad which is coordinated by one Eugene De Kock.This company is operating in the South Africa soil and has been instrumental in smuggling our comrades who are in exile, taking them back to Swaziland through informal crossings, and as we speak they are in Mswati’s prisons”, said the PUDEMO Youth League President.

PUDEMO is eSwatini’s main and largest liberation movement with allies across the Southern African region and abroad.
