MBABANE:Judge Zonke Magagula has dismissed an urgent court application by Limkokwing University of Creative Technology(LUCT) seeking to stop the reinstatement of dismissed Law Lecturer Gabsile Mnisi-Sacolo, the Judge ordered the University to pay costs of the application.
This means the University has lost a third(3rd) court battle against the Law Lecturer in the same matter and as a result,the institution’s Director Princess Tfobile “has spent about R1million in legal fees paying Musa Sibandze Attorneys and lawyers of the Law Lecturer as all the three(3) urgent applications were dismissed with costs”.
The Lecturer was represented by MK Ndlangamandla Attorneys and the Judge dismissed the application on Tuesday morning.
On another note, Judge Zonke Magagula dismissed an application by the Teaching Service Commission(TSC) and/or Government seeking to stop the reinstatement of Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT), the influential unionist was subsequently allowed back to class.
