MBABANE:Muzi Dlamini, a son to the late former Prime Minister Dr. Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini was rejected when applying for the position of Chief Financial Officer(CFO) of the Royal Science and Technology Park(RSTP) amid fraud allegations in his previous place of employment.
Dlamini was the Chief Financial Officer of the State owned Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation(EPTC) when R16million was fraudulently transferred from the company’s bank account, the matter was reported to the police. He declined to comment when asked whether he applied for the CFO position at the Technology Park.
Efforts to reach Dr Andile Methula, the Acting Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Royal Science and Technology Park proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
But Dlamini’s name “is among those who applied for the position and, sources within the Board of Directors told this publication that, the former Prime Minister’s son was rejected amid fraud allegations from his previous place of employment.
