MBABANE:Welcome Dlamini,the Mbabane East Member of Parliament(MP) successfully invited high profile people including former and current Cabinet Ministers to enjoy food at the Mbabane Market on Thursday.
Speaking to this Swaziland News after the visit by the high profile individuals,the MP said, it was meant to support the informal traders particularly women at the Market and further promote the upcoming Mbabane Crossover event.
“It was part of the promotion of the Mbabane Crossover event to be held at the Prince of Wales Sports Ground,we then visited the market vendors to encourage them to come and sell their food during the event and to also promote them so that everyone sees the good work that they do and how good their food actually is.Imagine,these women even serve Jacobs coffee, which I enjoy”, said the MP.
On another note, the MP confirmed that, former Manzini Wanderers striker Nkululeko Dlamini now popularly known as the South African “King of Squats”, will attend the Mbabane Crossover.
Former Labour and Social Security Minister and Philani Maswati Chairman Lutfo Dlamini, Sports Minister Bongani Nzima, Under Secretary Mzwandile Mtsetfwa,Sports and Recreation Council Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Darius Dlomo and his Board Members, Tindvuna Tetinkhundla from Mbabane East and West were also present during the visit at the Mbabane Market.
