LOMAHASHA:Four champions were crowned in the INSTACASH Independent League Cup and the INSTACASH Lubombo FA Cup tournaments this past weekend, the tournaments are co-sponsored by Orchard Insurance and eBet.

The action kicked off on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Qomintaba Sports Ground, where Surprise FC clinched the INSTACASH Independent League Cup: Matsanjeni/Qomintaba title. In a tightly contested final, Surprise FC overcame Black. 

The win not only added a trophy to their cabinet but also solidified Surprise FC's status as a formidable force in the Matsanjeni league.

Simultaneously, at the Lomahasha Sports Ground, Bhandeni Home Tigers showcased their dominance by decisively defeating Cosmos FC 4-0 in the INSTACASH Independent League Cup:Lomahasha championship. 

Bhandeni Home Tigers displayed relentless attacking prowess.

On Sunday, November 24, the excitement continued at Lavumisa Sports Ground, where Young Killers FC faced off against the seasoned Man United in the INSTACASH Independent Cup: Lavumisa final. 

After a thrilling 2-2 draw that kept fans on the edge of their seats, Young Killers triumphed 5-4 in a nail-biting penalty shootout. 

This victory celebrated not only their skill but also their resilience in high-pressure situations, marking a memorable day for the team's loyal fanbase.

On the same day at Tambuti Sports Ground, Kubuta Celtics FC etched their name in history as the INSTACASH Lubombo FA Cup: Super League champions. 

In a gripping final, they narrowly defeated Umtjezi FC 3-2, demonstrating tactical brilliance and teamwork. 

The match was a showcase of thrilling football, with both sides displaying remarkable skill, but it was Kubuta who ultimately lifted the coveted trophy.

All four Champions were celebrated in grand style, receiving prize money, brand new soccer kits, trophies, and coveted gold medals. 

Meanwhile, runners-up were also recognised for their efforts with prize money and silver medals.

To qualify for the tournaments, team had to first convert INSTACASH customers into signing up for the INSTACASH Funeral Cover.
