MBABANE:Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the eSwatini Police Spokesperson has labelled junior police officers and members of the Royal Eswatini Police Staff Association(REPOSA) who are demanding a salary increment under Phase two(II) as a minority(lidlandzana).
Speaking to the State owned radio on Friday morning when interviewed by senior journalist Nonhlanhla Gama,the Police Spokesperson blasted the junior officers for demanding a salary increment and labeleld them as wayward police officers.
She was responding to REPOSA Secretary General Sergeant Dumsile Khumalo who was also interviewed by the same radio station.
“These officers who are doing all this are a minority, lidlandzana”, said the Police Spokesperson.
On another note, after the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the junior officers later on Friday afternoon,members of the Police Staff Association led by Sergeant Khumalo posed for a picture outside court with their lawyer Thabiso Mavuso from Motsa-Mavuso Attorneys, mocking the Spokesperson.
“Lidlandzana selibuye naye Phase two”, said the junior police officers.
