MBABANE:Mphandlana Shongwe, a senior member of the People’s United United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) says the political organization cannot unite with the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) that supports Tinkhundla system by participating in the undemocratic elections.
Speaking on Visionary Perspectives Program hosted by human rights defender Velaphi Mamba on Sunday, the veteran political activist said, there cannot be unity with a political party that strengthens Tinkhundla system.
“How can you unite with a person who wants money from Tinkhundla by participating in the elections and, once that political party loses elections, it comes back and demand unity. After five(5) years, you divorce again as that party will participate in elections, once it loses, it comes back and demand unity again. You cannot be in a unity with a political prostitute”, said the PUDEMO senior member.
