MBABANE:The Eswatini Revenue Service(ERS) is demanding over R4million from Mavela Sigwane, the Federation of Eswatini Business Community(FESBC) Head of Business Transformation.
Sigwane is alleged to have collected Value Added Tax(VAT) without remitting same to the Revenue Authority and, the order directing the businessman to pay ERS was issued by Judge Qinisile Mabuza last month.
But after the court order, Sigwane failed to pay the said amount and thereafter, the court issued a writ of execution directing the Sheriff or his lawful Deputy for the Lubombo Region, to attach properties belonging to the businessman.
