MBABANE:Owen Nxumalo, the Minister of Education and Training has promised to end the employment of teachers on contracts.
The Minister was during a press conference held in Mbabane on Monday when announcing the Junior Certificate(JC) and Eswatini Primary Education Certificate(EPC).
Nxumalo announced Fanele Bongiwe Methula from St. Michael’s High School is the country’s top Junior Certificate (JC) student with an aggregate of 97% while Ayesha Tshabalala from Malkerns Valley Primary School and Thandeka Kiesha Dlamini from the Little School are top performing Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC) pupils at 81% respectively. He that this year’s JC results have improved from 82.01% in 2023 to 83.15% this year, while EPC results have dropped from 91.31% in 2023 to 90.79%.
