MBABANE:Thulisile Dladla,the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) has handed over a new house to two(2) Ekukhanyeni persons with disabilities, Government online platforms reported on Monday.
“Two persons with disabilities at Ekukhanyeni Inkhundla received their much-anticipated Christmas gifts from Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla when she officially handed over two decent houses to them today. Siyabonga Mtsetfwa (22) from Enswaceni Community and Joy Dlamini (48) from Nkiliji Community were grateful and excited when they were officially handed over the houses by the DPM and the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Apollo Maphalala, at Ekukhanyeni. Both houses were funded by the Eswatini Government through the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA).Siyabonga is staying with his grandmother in an old house with a very unstable roofing and in poor condition His mother passed away last year. Thuli has been trying to rebuild her home after the houses collapsed over the years, and she is staying with four children”, reads the online report.
