MBABANE:Sakhile ‘Aw’viva’ Nxumalo, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Youth League has honored convicted pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.
Addressing the Nation on Tuesday when delivering, the organization’s End of Year or Year Statement,Nxumalo said the MPs committed no crime but were convicted by the ruling undemocratic regime.
The PUDEMO Youth League President further applauded students who passed Form three(III) and Grade seven(7) despite the challenges they faced and without support from the Tinkhundla Government.He assured those who are in exile that, one day they will come back home and be with their families.
Sakhile Nxumalo is the President of the Swaziland Youth Congress(SWAYOCO), the Youth Leauge of Eswatini’s main and largest political party, PUDEMO.
MPs Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube were arrested and subsequently convicted on politically motivated terrorism charges merely for, demanding democratic reforms.
