MALINDZA:Princess Lindiwe, the Minister of Home Affairs has confirmed that Mozambican refugees are arriving in numbers in the neighboring eSwatini as the political unrest intensifies in the South-eastern African country.
The Minister was addressing the media after touring the Malindza Refugee Camp on Friday, she was with Foreign Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu.
“Three hundred and seventy two(372) refugees have arrived and we are working towards ensuring that, they are properly documented,” said the Home Affairs Minister.
The political unrest gained momentum this week in Mozambique after the Constitutional Council confirmed that, the ruling FRELIMO won the disputed elections.
