MBABANE:Percy Simelane, the King’s Spokesperson has referred comments to Indvuna Themba Ginindza when asked to confirm if it’s true that,Ingatja will receive two thousand, five hundred Rands(R2,500.00) each as Imbasha after Incwala.
This comes after sources told this Swaziland News that, the King was allegedly considering increasing ‘Imbasha’ from one thousand Rands(R1000.00) to R2,500.00 after being impressed by the thousands of young people who attended the annual Incwala ritual ceremony.
“We are not privy to payments of allowances to regiments.Indvuna Themba Ginindza is better positioned to know,” said the King’s Spokesperson when responding to this publication on Friday evening.
But efforts to seek a comment from the traditional authorities and,if the payment of the R2,500.00 will start this year or in the coming years, proved unsuccessful as Indvuna Themba Ginindza’s phone rang unanswered on Friday evening.
