MBABANE:Alpheous Nxumalo, the retiring Government Spokesperson who allegedly boycotted Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini’s Performance Report press conference on Friday, spoke to NewsRoom Afrika TV on Tuesday while inside a house with scraped walls.
The Government Spokesperson was speaking about the influx of refugees in the country in the midst of a political unrest in the neighboring Mozambique.
Nxumalo was allegedly stopped from releasing the Mozambique refugees press statement on Monday amid a serious fallout with the PM, the press statement was released by the Prime Minister.
But after learning that, he was being sidelined and rendered irrelevant, Nxumalo spoke to NewsRoom Afrika on Tuesday while inside a house with scraped walls.
It remains unclear where exactly the Government Spokesperson was when speaking to the South African TV station, he is highly expected to retire in the next three(3) months but “is allegedly lobbying for another extended contract”.
