MBABANE:Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the eSwatini Police Spokesperson has warned that, there are individuals plotting to disturb peace in the tiny Kingdom and then use the Mozambique situation as a scapegoat.
Speaking to the State owned eSwatini TV on Friday, the Police Spokesperson said those plotting to disturb peace in the country will be dealt with by the police.
“We have received intelligence information suggesting that, there are individuals plotting to disturb peace in the country and then use the Mozambique situation as a scapegoat. Those people must refrain from doing what they are plotting to do”, she said.
But eSwatini is not a democracy, political parties are banned from participating in elections while human rights defenders are arrested, tortured or killed merely for demanding democratic reforms.
It is alleged that, the eSwatini Tinkhundla Government “is aware that another political unrest might erupt but not sure of the date”.
