MBABANE:Gift Mandlenkhosi Dlamini passports suggest that,he was entering eSwatini while claiming that, his life was in danger in the Kingdom.
An investigation conducted by this Swaziland News into Dlamini’s travel history uncovered information from the eSwatini Ministry of Home Affairs electronic systems, the information suggests that, the SWALIMO leader “has two(2) passports including an international passport that he used to frequent eSwatini a few months ago before he fled to Ireland”.
This means, despite Dlamini’s earlier claims that his life was in danger in eSwatini before he relocated to South Africa, there’s now evidence suggesting that, he was entering eSwatini and unlike other political activists who are wanted by the eSwatini regime, he was not flagged in the Immigration system and was able to frequent eSwatini.
The SWALIMO leader fled to Ireland last month amid rape allegations and an investigation into the death of Bheka Magagula.
A separate investigation is being conducted by this Swaziland News to ascertain the reasons communicated by Dlamini to the Ireland authorities regarding his decision to escape from South Africa.
Dlamini made serious allegations against political leaders after the death of Bheka Magagula but, after being asked to assist the South African police in the investigation so that the suspects could be arrested, he fled to Ireland to Europe claiming his life was now in danger even in South Africa. He declined to comment about the matter but opted to insult this journalist calling him a ‘dog’ merely for reporting about his re-location to Ireland.
But the investigation into Dlamini’s travel history and the reason why he fled to Ireland amid an investigation into the death of Bheka Magagula is being intensified by this publication.
The SWALIMO leader is also facing accusations from a former SWALIMO member who claimed that Dlamini allegedly raped her while at Mpumalanga, the victim is allegedly being assisted by human rights defenders to heal and intensify the case with the law enforcement agencies.
It remains unclear why exactly Gift Mandlenkhosi Dlamini fled to Ireland amid serious matters that might require him to assist the South African police with investigations.
On another note, Mlungisi Makhanya, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) who was accused by the SWALIMO leader of killing Bheka Magagula in what appeared to be a well-State sponsored coordinated social media campaign, vowed to intensify the matter with South African police officers.
Makhanya said if need be, Gift Dlamini will be extradited back to South Africa by the International Criminal Police Association(INTERPOL) to assist in the investigation into Bheka Magagula’s murder.
It is alleged that,Dlamini was frequenting eSwatini to meet the State Intelligence Unit.
