Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini receives Special Envoy from Algeria Mohamed Meziane, strengthening of cooperation between two countries discussed.

MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini received a Special Envoy from the Republic of Algeria His Excellency Mohamed Meziane, Government online platforms reported on Tuesday afternoon.

It has been reported that, the Special Envoy was in the country to deliver a special message from Algeria President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

“The meeting also served as an opportunity to reaffirm the strong and enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation that exist between the two nations.The visit further put emphasis on the dedication of both countries to fostering partnerships that promote African unity, peace, and prosperity.Diplomatic relations between Algeria and Eswatini, established in 1994, have been built on shared values of peace, development, and African unity. This visit highlighted the Nations’ commitment to fostering stronger bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for further collaboration”, reads the Government online report.

Foreign Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu, Principal Secretary(PS) in the Prime Minister’s Office Bertram Stewart were also present when the PM welcomed the Special Envoy.
