OPINION:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini’s must allow Cabinet Ministers to make independent decisions and shine, praises will then go to his administration.

When I was writing drama plays(imidlalo yemoya) for the State owned Radio Station twenty(20) years ago, actors would become more famous that us, the writers and producers, some would then receive invitations to be Master of Ceremonies(MCs) and earn a living by generating extra cash while some penetrated the advertising industry.

But whenever I see a Liswati rising from nowhere to become famous and earn a living through my writing skills or drama project, to me that was an achievement because it’s important to stay in your lane and effectively lead from behind.

I remember my colleague Vuyo Dlamini who wrote the “Kadze kwasa ukwenta kukulungela” drama, the late Dan ‘Siphampanana’ Duma became famous more than the writer.

Percy Simelane, the now King’s Spokesperson was among those whose acting talent shined, some listeners knew ‘Mbakadza’ but the writer was little known,  it’s the nature of the project where writers lead from behind and, once the writer competes with the actor for fame, then the whole project will collapse.

Now,Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini is seemingly suffering from an inferiority complex in that, he wants to be hands-on in everything while interfering with other Cabinet Ministers political and administrative duties.

In the context of a drama play, Russell Dlamini wants to be the writer, producer, narrator, sound engineer and actor among other characters.

An inferiority complex is a chronic feeling of inadequacy or insecurity that can affect how the PM as the Head of Government, sees himself and interacts with others within Cabinet, it can be caused by real or imagined physical or psychological deficiencies.

Symptoms of a person with an inferior complex include low self-esteem,chronic self-doubt, difficulty accepting criticism and reaching or achieving goals among others, this is according to a brief research I conducted when analyzing the conduct of the current Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla has been receiving praises and appreciation from members of the public for distributing food and building houses for the poor.

Even though the money does not come from Thuli Dladla’s pocket, the praises come with her political duties as a DPM, Ben Mshamndane Sibandze was also famous for distributing food.

An alleged inferior Prime Minister who interfered with the duties of the DPM was then seen distributing food at Mafutseni under Chief Ngalonkhulu Mabuza and, this style of leadership will halt Government operations.

Despite her previous controversies and alleged involvement in the looting of public funds within the Swaziland Women Empowerment Trust(SWEET), I once wrote an article describing DPM Thulisile Dladla, she is the kind of a woman who “wants things to be done and even at home most hardworking women are like that”.

It would be very unfortunate if the PM has this societal primitive attitude of “ngeke ngehluwe ngumfati, ngeke ngitjelwe ngumfati”.

In this world if you want to be successful as a leader, you must have a good working relationship with women colleagues because women, have a special skill to get things done timely.

Russell Mmiso Dlamini must understand that,he is not a woman or Thuli Dladla and no matter how he could try, he can never be the Deputy Prime Minister because almost all human beings have their own skills and capabilities.

The PM was previously seen interfering with the operations of the Ministry of Health particularly, the transformation of the Central Medical Stores(CMS) without mentioning his recent attempt to impose an alleged corrupt and controversial investor Mobeen Meldi who was rejected by the Eswatini Investment and Promotion Authority(EIPA) under Commerce Minister Mancoba Khumalo, he must stop this dictatorship tendencies immediately and subscribe to the Cabinet “collective responsibility” principle.

Prime Minister Russell Dlamini must unite the Cabinet, allow Ministers and Government officials to perform their administrative duties and as the ‘Captain’, he can provide guidance or leadership but be open for advice from experts.

Eswatini is highly respected globally for fighting malaria but Simon ‘Mbhuzulwane’ Kunene, the man who was coordinating the Malaria Project long died.

This means even King Mswati who knows nothing about malaria gained global recognition as a Head of State because the country is now a reference when it comes to fighting malaria, this achievement came through the tireless efforts of a mere Government official and others within the Ministry of Health.

As a leader, the Prime Minister must just allow Cabinet Ministers and Government officials to perform their duties and, the praises will then go to his administration, he must just stop his dictatorship tendencies because he does not have the monopoly to think.

But in conclusion let me quote in context, the Bible and maybe as Pastor, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini will understand.

God operates in his Trinity being the Father(Executive authority), the Son(Word of God) and the Holy Spirit being the power of God.

When Christians sing praising to the Holy Spirit, that does not mean Jesus as the Son or the Father must be jealous because, the praises are directed to the entire God in his Trinity, the same applies when Jesus or the father receive praises.

So if God the Father as the Executive authority could leave the Throne and then perform duties of the Holy Spirit, the whole powerful spiritual system could collapse.
