MBABANE:Nathie Dlamini, the Business Eswatini Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has written a letter to Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) Minister Savannah Maziya congratulating her following the newly launched partnership with Google.

This comes after the Minister successfully facilitated the signing of the partnership that will digitalize Government services.

“On behalf of Business Eswatini and the private sector of the Kingdom of Eswatini, I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you and your team at the Ministry of Information, Communications & Technology on the launch of this landmark partnership with Google.This momentous achievement marks a pivotal step in advancing Eswatini’s Digital Transformation Agenda under the “Government in Your Hand (GIYH)” program. It is a testament to the Ministry’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to transforming public service delivery through digital innovation.We believe this partnership is a seminal development whose positive impact will resonate across various sectors of our economy and society. Most notably, it is poised to address Eswatini’s urgent need for advanced ICT skills, which are critical to enhancing our national competitive advantage in the context of the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions. These skills—ranging from cloud computing to artificial intelligence and robotics—are no longer optional but essential pillars for success in today’s business landscape and the future world of work,” said the Business Eswatini CEO.

Dlamini further said, the rapid pace of digital transformation compels the Nation to stay ahead of the ICT curve.
