MBABANE:Job opportunities have been created within the Correctional Services as seventeen(17) senior officers retire from public service.
Commissioner General Phindile Lomakhosini Dlamini bid the senior officers farewell this week and urged them to remember that, they are still officers of the Correctional institution.
Retired Senior Superintendent Mike Nxumalo who spoke on behalf of the retiring senior officers, thanked God for keeping them alive, Nxumalo served Government in the Department of Correctional Services for thirty-nine(39) years.He then appreciated Commissioner General Phindile Dlamini for her wise leadership and organizing the event to thank them for their service to the Government.
On another note and while other Government officers who have reached the retirement age proudly go home, Public Service Principal Secretary(PS) Sipho Nelson Tsabedze who allegedly forged his date of birth to avoid retirement, is fighting Government in court, refusing to go home.
