NKHANINI:Lusendvo Fakudze,the Ludzidzini Palace Governor and traditional Prime Minister says “committing adultery with King’s wife is a serious offense in terms of Customary Law” and therefore, Swazi Observer editor Mbongeni Mbingo might be fined ten(10) cattle if found guilty.
Mbingo stands accused of committing adultery with King Mswati’s senior wife Inkhosikati Sibonelo Mngomezulu known as LaMbikiza, the Queen was even allegedly sending royal guards to deliver food to the editor’s place of employment while their previous passports suggests that, they would sometimes fly out of the country with different flights but to a similar destination.
Mbongeni Mbingo and Inkhosikati LaMbikiza declined to comment about the matter.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Monday morning,the Ludzidzini Governor said normally, when a man is accused of sleeping or committing adultery with another man’s wife, “the fine is calculated based on the number of cattle previously paid by the husband as lobola” and whether there suspect is a first offender or not.
“Such matters are normally adjudicated by the Council and, the fine is based on whether the accused is a first offender or not and the number of cattle previously paid by the husband as lobola.Ngitawubekisa nje nangabe abecala kuganga kungaba tinkhomo letisihlanu kuye ngekutsi-ke uyaphindza yini.But when it comes to a King’s wife, the man could be fined ten(10) cattle or more kuye ngekutsi Libandla liyibuke kanjani lendzaba.Nguloko-ke Mntfwanami, ninjani nine ngalapho?.Tsine sesaphatfwa bo-Shukela kodvwa Nkulunkulu usesigcinile”, said the Governor.
