MBABANE:Chief Prince Mshengu snubbed a high level meeting on Monday at Nkhanini, he was reported to the Ludzidzini Council by grandchildren of the late Prince Mbilini for allegedly grabbing their land at Macetjeni.
Prince Mbilini is the son of the late King Mswati II and a great-grandfather of the current Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini,the children who reported the Chief to the Ludzidzini Council come from the Royal House of Prince Dlamane of Endonda-kusuka, Dlamane is the son of Prince Mbilini.
Worth-noting, Prince Mshengu himself became Chief after his father Prince Maguga forcefully removed Chief Prince Mtfuso II of KaMkweli and Mliba Fakudze of Macetjeni.
Prince Mtfuso II is the son of Prince Mahlanandzaba, the son of Ntengenyane, the son of Mtfuso I, the son of Mabandla, the son of Mgulube, the son of Sigwadzini, the son of Prince Mkhweli, the son of Nyanya, the son of Prince Lunyangu, the son of Prince Mavuso who was the son of King Ngwane III.
On the other hand, the children who reported Chief Prince Mshengu to the Ludzidzini Council come from the Royal House of Njobo Dlamini, the son of Mphobolo, the son of Dlamane, the son of Prince Mbilini, the son of late King Mswati II.
During the meeting at Nkhanini Royal Offices on Monday, Chief Prince Mshengu was represented by his Inner Council(Bandlancane) from KaMkhweli when in fact the Ludzidzini Council was expecting the Chief with Bandlancane from Macetjeni.
“Where is the Chief?”, Mathendele Dlamini who was chairing the Ludzidzini Council meeting asked, to which Indvuna Tikhontele Ngcamphalala responded that, the Chief was sick.
Mathendele Dlamini then ruled that,Chief Prince Mshengu must appear before the Ludzidzini Council on Thursday this week to respond to the allegations leveled against him.
Ludzidzini Council members who were present during the meeting include Prince Nhlonipho, Masende Zwane,Prince Phuhlaphi and Mangomeni Ndzimandze.
