Editor Zweli Martin Dlamini invited to participate in the Standard Bank-South African Editors Forum Journalism Awards, urges public to suggest investigative stories.

MBABANE:Zweli Martin Dlamini,the editor of this Swaziland News who doubles as an investigative journalist, has been invited to participate in the upcoming Standard Bank-South African Editors Forum(SANEF) Journalism Awards.

Dlamini received an email on Friday from the Press Council of South Africa, an institution that regulates all media entities, he has been urged to consider participating in the upcoming Journalism Awards.

But the editor has invited the public to recommend his previous investigative articles that could compete in the Journalism Awards.

“I have written many investigative stories and it might be difficult to identify the best ngoba ngesiSwati kutsiwa awugidzi uphindze ushaye tandla, ngitawutsi ngiyakhetsa the best article ngisuke ngishaye eceleni kani emehlo nasamanengi atangisita to choose the best.I therefore appeal to the public to assist in identifying the investigative stories published from 1st January to 31st December 2024”, said the editor.

Dlamini said the public can email editor@swazilandnews.co.za or comment on this publication’s social media pages when suggesting the stories.
