The country’s most vulnerable groups, particularly women, youth, farmers, sportspeople, the unbanked, and a bulk of the middle class have shown great interest in one of the country’s affordable funeral cover facilities; the INSTACASH Funeral Cover policy.
The INSTACASH funeral cover has become one of the trending topics on various social media platforms following the release of a commercial that promotes the noble facility.
“Honestly, at a premium of just R15 monthly, with a payout of R10,000 in the event of a member’s demise, it is simply unforgivable not to sign up,” opined Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo, INSTACASH Managing Director in an interview.
Nxumalo said the product was designed for emaSwati with affordability and convenience in mind; and is available to all INSTACASH customers aged between 18 and 70 for voluntary sign up.
“INSTACASH customers who wish to sign up for the cover may dial *365# and select ‘Insurance’ then enter details of their preferred beneficiary,” he explained.
A successful registration SMS notification would be sent to the customers, following which they can proceed to make their R15 monthly premium payments. Prepayment options for 3 months (R15), 6 months (R90), and 12 months (R180) are also available.
The INSTACASH Funeral Cover is underwritten by Orchard Insurance, a registered insurer. More details about this cover may be obtained from the toll-free line 365 (for MTN subscribers) or from WhatsApp 79365000.
