MBABANE:Inkhosikati Siphelele LaMashwama danced to a traditional song titled “bayabuya bonkhe Ngwenyama bangebakho Okandaba”, allegedly composed to mock all those who left the Tinkhundla system during the political unrest, to join the pro-democracy movement.
The song was composed as part of “kuhaya” during the recent Buganu Ceremony at Buhleni Royal Residence.
Political activists who recently left the pro-democracy movement to join Tinkhundla system include former President of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) Swaziland Ncamiso Ngcamphalala, former leaders of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) Mzwakhe Myeni and Spokesperson Thantaza Silolo, all of them subsequently declared loyalty to King Mswati.
Others include former Warder Wandile Gina, ex-senior member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) Emmanuel Mkhwanazi and others mostly from SWALIMO who left the struggle for democracy amid the long walk to freedom.
Inkhosikati LaMashwama is the daughter to Eswatini Water Service Corporation(EWSC) Managing Director Jabulile Mashwama, she was grabbed from Rochester University to marry King Mswati.
Royal insiders alleged that, the traditional song was composed to praise the King as some of those who left Tinkhundla to join the pro-democracy movement, are now coming back.

“All those who defeated to join pro-democracy movement are coming to Tinkhundla system now”, says Inkhosikati Siphelele LaMashwama.
