MBABANE:Tummy Bruce, the Spokesperson in the United States(US) Department of State has, on behalf of the US Government pledged continued support and partnership with the Kingdom of eSwatini following a telephone call between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and eSwatini Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini on Monday.
“Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Prime Minster of the Kingdom of Eswatini Russell Dlamini by phone today. The Secretary noted the long and friendly relations between the United States and Eswatini and his hope for expanding that partnership,” the US Department of State Spokesperson said through a statement.
Eswatini and the United States has been enjoying warm bilateral relations since the Kingdom gained Independence in 1968.
