MBABANE:Ludzidzini Indvuna Themba Ginindza has been accused of collecting twelve thousand Rands(R12,000.00) from emaSwati for a piece of land at Mbekelweni uMphakatsi for his own personal benefit triggering tension with BantfwaBeNkhosi within the Royal Palace.

King Mbandzeni’s Mbekelweni Royal Palace was previously under King Sobhuza’s wife Inkhosikati LaZwane who gave birth to Prince Phuzigazi, Princess Siphila, Princess Tsandzisiwe, Prince Sivukelene, Princess Lomajuba and Princess Ncengencenge.

Speaking to this Swaziland News this week, one of the royal family members said, Indvuna Themba Ginindza was appointed by the late Prince Phuzigazi who went to Manzini Market with Luke Mavimbela(now Mankayane National Court President) to ‘fetch’ Ginindza who was fixing radios there.

“Prince Phuzigazi appointed and subsequently introduced him to the King as Mbekelweni Indvuna after a research about his family’s proximity to the previous King.Ingwenyama appointed Ginindza to Parliament and as Acting Ludzidzini Indvuna. What Indvuna Ginindza is failing to understand is that, he was appointed because Ingwenyama hold the Mbekelweni uMphakatsi in high regard, he was actually recognizing the Mbekelweni uMphakatsi by appointing him and therefore, if he neglects his fundamental duties here and destroys this Royal Palace, even the King will have a serious problem with him. Before Prince Phuzigazi died, he dissolved the Inner Council(Bandlancane) that was collecting monies from the public, allocating land at Mbekelweni without declaring tinkhomo teNkhosi. But after the death of Prince Phuzigazi, Indvuna Ginindza is now working with that Inner Council, collecting monies from the public.I know you are good in research, just contact laBantfwabeNkhosi one-by-one as some are willing to talk to you ngalendzaba, ask them kutsi utishonisaphi Ginindza letinkhomo teNkhosi ngoba even electricity units come from the pockets of BantfwaBeNkhosi or Inkhosikati LaKhumalo, Ginindza uyatidlela lemali. It’s painful Nkhosi to be insulted by the people kutsiwe “wena uwaseBukhosini udla timali, liciniso litsi timali tidliwa ngu-Ginindza lapha,” said one of the royal family members who preferred to remain anonymous.

It is alleged that after dumping the Mbekelweni uMphakatsi, Indvuna Themba Ginindza is now residing at Ezulwini in a home owned by his wife Zanele Hlatjwako.

Efforts were made to contact the Indvuna but he couldn’t be reached even after this journalist tried to reach wife Zanele Hlatjwako-Ginindza trying to locate his whereabouts.

But royal sources subsequently told this publication that, Indvuna Themba Ginindza would only arrive at the Mbekelweni uMphakatsi once in a while, just to collect monies paid by emaSwati who were allocated land and subsequently disappeared.

It is alleged that, the monies are allegedly paid to the Chairman of the Inner Council(Bandlancane) and then grabbed by Indvuna Ginindza.

Reached for comments on Monday evening, Inkhosikati LaKhumalo, the wife to King Sobhuza’s son Prince Phuzigazi said, he will not comment about the matter except when directed to do so by their Majesties.

“I have no comment ngingaphendvula eMakhosini kuphela ngalendzaba buta yona Indvuna ngaletindzaba tingangayo futsi basho kuyo,” she said.

Inkhosikati LaKhumalo was the first to have her umtsimba ‘blessed’ by King Mswati in 1988 shortly after his Coronation, she is currently residing at Mbekelweni uMphakatsi.
