MBABANE:Luke Lushaba, the Chief Fire Officer(CFO) in the Department of Fire and Emergency Services has been awarded a three(3) year new contract.

This was confirmed by a source close to King Mswati who referred comments to Apollo Maphalala, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development.

“It’s true that, Lushaba has been awarded a three(3) year new contract of employment, ngumfana weMakhosi,” said the source who spoke to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Friday morning.

Efforts to seek a comment from the Minister proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Luke Lushaba retired around March 2023 and was awarded a two(2) year contract that expired this year, he has since been awarded a new three(3) year contract that will expire in March 2028.
