MBABANE:Thulisile Motsa-Dladla,the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) and Queen Mother Ntombi Tfwala’s trusted servant, who was allegedly the mastermind in the rampant looting of millions belonging to women including widows within the now defunct Swaziland Women Economic Empowerment Trust(SWEET), is now going for SwaziMed thus threatening the existence of the country’s largest medical scheme.

The DPM allegedly unleashed State police officers last week to stop a SwaziMed Board meeting amid ongoing demand for accountability of public funds, she subsequently released a press statement saying the eSwatini Government was monitoring the situation.

The interference of the DPM who was acting on behalf of Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini and the subsequent unleashing of the armed police officers raised eyebrows with regards to the alleged looting at SwaziMed and if, the authorities of the country and other powerful individuals “are involved” and have seized control of Fund.

But the Board went on to remove Chairman Sammy Dlamini and subsequently suspend Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane amid allegations of corruption.

SwaziMed is on the verge of collapse as some local and South African private hospitals are no-longer accepting patients with SwaziMed Medical Aid, the medical scheme is reportedly struggling to pay doctors despite collecting millions from the public.

This resulted to emaSwati struggling to access quality healthcare despite paying their Medical Aid amid the ongoing rampant looting.

On another note, DPM Thuli Dladla is used by Indlovukazi Queen Ntombi Tfwala to loot public funds, she is currently representing the Queen in various investment schemes including the African Alliance.
