MBABANE:Babhekile Matsebula has been appointed as the new Director General of the Central Bank of Eswatini(CBE) Financial Intelligence Centre(EFIC), a powerful position that will enable her to monitor all bank accounts and suspicious transactions.
Matsebula was appointed and introduced to the Nation by Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg on Monday, she holds a Degree in Law, Master’s in Financial Management, specialized anti-money laundering certificates with a combined fifteen(15) years of executive experience in financial regulation.
Addressing the media, the Finance Minister said, the appointment of Matsebula demonstrates Government’s commitment to appoint qualified individuals to safeguard the financial system.
