LOBAMBA:Welcome Dlamini, the Mbabane East Member of Parliament(MP) successfully moved a motion calling for an investigation into the looming job losses within the Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation(EPTC).
This Swaziland News reported that, over thirty(30) employees will lose their jobs at EPTC, this was confirmed to this publication by Themba Khumalo, the Managing Director who stated that, the telecommunications State entity was restructuring.
But Parliament has expressed concerns regarding the looming job losses and as a result, “the Mbabane East MP is among other Legislators who form part of a Select Committee tasked with investigating the downsizing at EPTC”.
The other MPs who “are members of the Select Committee include Charles Ndlovu from Ngudzeni, Mtfongwaneni MP Nathie Hlophe, Mhlambanyatsi MP Bongnkhosi Dlamini, MP Chief Prince Mshengu and MP Brigadier General Tsembeni Magongo”.
