MBABANE:Kareem Ashraff, the Director of SwaziPharm Wholesalers has expressed full support for Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini’s sentiments, alleging the existence of a cabal in the country.
Speaking to the State owned Swazi Observer, Ashraff who stands accused of looting billions of public funds, resulting to the shortage of drugs in public hospitals and the death of hundreds of emaSwati,warns of a cabal seeking to grab the health sector from him and his syndicate.
Ashraff’s interview with the State owned newspaper was allegedly meant to confirm the sentiments of the Prime Minister with regards to the ongoing challenges within the health sector.
“We risk,if we move even at the pace we are moving at, having the health sector being captured. There are signs that the health sector got into this problem, not by mistake, but deliberately.It was orchestrated by certain forces,” said the PM when speaking to the Observer.
Reacting to the PM’s interview, Ashraff said the Prime Minister was one hundred percent(100%) correct, insisting that the crisis was orchestrated by an alleged cabal.
“I appreciate the PM for finally speaking the truth about this matter, which has been unnecessarily politicized. As I have said for the past two years, this is not a complicated issue, it’s actually quite straightforward. The problem has been orchestrated. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it,” Ashraff said as quoted by the Swazi Observer.
