MBABANE:Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane, the Eswatini Med Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has appealed the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Titus Mlangeni on Friday.
Simelane stands accused of defying a court order directing him not to terminate Medical Aid for Eswatini Bank employees, he filed an appeal immediately to stay the execution of the warrant.
A "stay of execution pending appeal" means that, the enforcement of a court order or judgment is temporarily suspended, or "stayed”, until a higher court has ruled on an appeal against that original decision.
