It should be noted that, if Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini’s leadership attracts ‘fools’, then he must also consider himself as one.

The definition or description of a fool is well articulated in the Book of Proverbs and as a Pastor, the PM must just read that book as a mirror that will then reflect his image.

Indeed, the Book of Proverbs describes the characteristics and behaviors of a “fool”, highlighting the lack of wisdom and understanding, Proverbs 12:15 reads; 

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel”.

State Intelligence officers provided some information this week with regards to a secret meeting where the PM was plotting against other high profile people within Government and, in the same meeting, he confirmed issuing diplomatic passports to Zimbabwean fugitives as reported by this Swaziland News.

But the Prime Minister was warned by State Security experts to terminate ties with these fugitives, he refused to listen hence he found himself compromising the security and Sovereignty of the country by issuing these diplomatic to foreign individuals of highly questionable character.

Well, I was surprised to learn through the intelligence information that the Prime Minister would sometimes clash with Commerce Minister Mancoba Khumalo and Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg, the tension with Information Minister Savannah Maziya was widely reported by this publication hence it was in the public domain.

Maybe, the PM must conduct an introspection to ascertain why he always clash with the most intelligent and hardworking Ministers, at some point he clashed with Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Motsa-Dladla.

As a result, he found himself going to Mafutseni uMphakatsi to distribute food just because he felt the DPM was receiving huge political mileage by distributing the food.

DPM Thuli Dladla is not entirely perfect but under her administration, the National Disaster Management Agency(NDMA) is currently driving a project, building houses for the poor and this project was applauded even by King Mswati.

In this regard,I am not suggesting that, Neal Rijikernberg, Mancoba Khumalo, Savannah Maziya and Thulisile Dladla are clean or perfect, it’s hard to have clean politicians and I don’t believe they even exist.

But we have previously reported about them in this very publication and despite their shortcomings, the country witnessed the implementation of some projects under their Portfolios and some of the projects are continuing.

The question is; why Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini’s leadership always attracts the fools inside Cabinet who are not brave enough to challenge him during Cabinet meetings?.

The Prime Minister is more closer to stupid and foolish Ministers like Sikhumbuzo Dlamini, Dr Thambo Gina and Mabulala Maseko, the only Minister with some intellectual capability who is always with him is Foreign and International Cooperation Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu.

Dr Thambo Gina has fathered many children and is always financially broke and at the mercy of the PM for international trips so he can buy pampers for his minor child.

The Economic Planning and Development Minister is a failure and struggling to manage his own life but, the PM thinks he can get some advice from such character.

On the other hand, Public Service Minister Mabulala Maseko is a known opportunist, he was sitting next to Cleopas Dlamini during Sibaya because there were rumors suggesting that, the King might re-appoint Cleopas.

Shortly after the appointment of Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini as the Prime Minister, the same Mabulala Maseko tried to present a cow to Mandvulo saying he was congratulating him for the appointment yet he was positioning himself for a Cabinet appointment,Mandvulo rejected the cow.

Sikhumbuzo Dlamini, is a former police officer who is used to taking orders without questioning, I won’t delve much on what the Tinkhundla went through after losing the previous elections, his wife left him because he was financially broke and came back after four(4) years shortly after Dlamini won the recent elections again and subsequently became a Cabinet Minister.

The Tinkhundla Minister has been through a lot and will never challenge the Prime Minister because he is forever grateful for this appointment.

As mentioned, I don’t want to delve much on his personal life but, his troubles back home suggests that, Dlamini is also a stupid Minister who can’t manage his own life despite earning a huge salary.

It is therefore, very unfortunate to note that, King Mswati has a tendency of appointing fools and mix them with intelligent people, those fools will always clash with intelligent Cabinet Ministers during meetings because, fools have absolutely no intellectual capabilities to think and digest issues.

Now,if the PM is consistently clashing with intelligent Ministers like Savannah Maziya and others within Cabinet only to attract fools, this acts as a reflection of his poor leadership.

Furthermore, the PM must understand that the position of Attorney General(AG) Sifiso Khumalo is central in the operations of the Government, policies and Bills are drafted by the Office of the AG.

The PM is not a lawyer, he must learn to allow experts within Government to do their job and advise accordingly.

Whether he likes or hates the AG, the PM must work with him because Government is not a private institution and, you don’t work only with those you like.

The Prime Minister must learn from the intelligent Ministers, of course and as previously mentioned, this does not mean these Ministers are clean, they have their own skeletons but there’s always the good and the bad side in every human being.

In conclusion, let me once again advise the PM to read the Book of Proverbs and he will get some wisdom, it’s important to take advice and learn from others.
