MBABANE:”Tibi tendlu bantfwabami”, Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla told some Members of Parliament(MPs) who enquired about the reported ongoing fight with Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini.

This comes after this Swaziland News reported that, the PM told his Deputy Thuli Dladla to “shut-up” during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the DPM was intervening amid a verbal showdown that had erupted between the Prime Minister and Education Minister Owen Nxumalo.

But on Saturday, the DPM uploaded a Whatsap status remembering the late PM Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini, some MPs contacted this journalist saying the DPM might be venting frustration after the reported fight with the current Prime Minister.

“May his soul rest in peace waNkhosi,” the DPM wrote on her Whatsap status.

But when asked by this Swaziland News on Saturday to clarify, the Deputy Prime Minister asked not to comment saying, she shared the Whatsap status for those close to her.

“I wouldn’t want to disclose why I shared the Whatsap status remembering Mandvulo. Ngicela kungasho lutfo Nkhosi”, she said.

It has been reported that, a fight erupted inside Cabinet on Tuesday and, the tension erupted after Information Minister Savannah Maziya questioned the PM why he removed her from the King’s delegation “that is supposed to travel with Mswati to Japan in the next coming weeks”.

The PM allegedly responded with arrogance when addressing the Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) Minister saying; “wena ngakuvala kuma-international trips awungivanga yini?”.

It was in the midst of the heated argument where Education Minister Owen Nxumalo blasted the PM in defense of Minister Savannah Maziya, accusing him of bullying Cabinet Ministers.

But the PM responded by ordering the Education Minister to “leave the Cabinet meeting”, DPM Thuli Dladla who subsequently tried to intervene was told in no uncertain terms by the Prime Minister, to shut-up.
