MBABANE:Deputy Prime Minister (DPM)Thuli Dladla says, editor Zweli Martin Dlamini has been hard against her and,she wondered why as she thought they were in good terms.
Speaking to the editor on Saturday when asked about the tension that erupted inside Cabinet amid tension with Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini, the DPM first asked where the editor was as he was calling him with a Chinese number and thereafter, the Deputy Prime Minister asked “what did she do to the editor who is always a hard” against her.
“Wanginiphita-wanginiphita Zwemart mntfwanami yini kangaka”, the DPM asked.
But the editor told the DPM that, the criticism was not personal but part of the role of the media to hold those in power accountable.
The editor further informed the Deputy Prime Minister that, it is for these reasons that, “this publication always publish stories when the DPM build houses for the poor because the media reports even positive stories as part of it’s constitutional mandate to inform the public”.
