MBABANE: Princess Temaswati, the daughter of King Mswati and her new married boyfriend and future ‘husband’ Lwazi Maziya might soon take over as authorities of the disputed ka-Langa chiefdom in terms of the Swazi Law and Custom.

This comes after the soccer player allegedly deserted his wife Dumsile-Mdluli Maziya to date the King’s daughter, some close family members of the soccer player led by his sister Mbali Maziya are now speeding-up the process of nullifying his marriage with Mdluli so he can marry the Princess.

This publication is in possession of intimate pictures proving the relationship between Maziya and the Princess, they regularly spend time together at Malkerns flats situated about 400 meters away from the Police Station.

Lusendvo Fakudze, the Ludzidzini Palace Governor recently confirmed to the media a similar case at LaMgabhi Etiyeni where a child of the late King’s man Mphatsi Hlophe and grandson of Chief Mabhedla was appointed Chief because his mother was a Princess.

Reached for comments, Sifiso Maziya, the substantive Chief of KaLanga who awaits blessings from His Majesty the King, asked not to comment on the matter, he said he was not aware of the relationship between Lwazi Maziya the King’s daughter.

“May I not comment Nkhosi on this matter as I am not aware of it” ,said the substantive Chief.

But an investigation by this Swaziland News uncovered that on or around 30th January 2021, a faction of the Maziya family at KaMzilikazi who are supportive of the relationship summoned the current wife of the soccer player Dumsile Mdluli-Maziya into a meeting where she was forced to start the processs of terminating her marriage certificate with her husband Lwazi Maziya.

Reached for comments, Dumsile Mdluli, a sister to former prominent Manzini Wanderers soccer player John ‘Junior Shisa’ Mdluli confirmed that she was summoned into the said family meeting and forced to terminate the marriage with her husband.

“I can confirm that last week Saturday, I was summoned to a meeting with the Maziya family at kaMzilikazi where I was forced to terminate the marriage with my husband Lwazi Maziya” she said.

When this publication reached Lwazi Maziya, the new boyfriend to Princess Temaswati denied the matter at first but when this journalist indicated that he was in possession of intimate pictures, he laughed.

“Yati ayikho mbamba lendzaba mani Zweli(he laughed) wena soyitsatsephi?”meaning: There’s nothing like that, where did you get such information?” he said.

Efforts to reach Princess Temaswati for a comment proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

But insiders within the KaLanga Royal Kraal told this publication that the relationship between Maziya and Princess Temaswati means the soccer player will automatically qualify to be the Chief in terms of Swazi Law and Custom should they decide to get married.

"This will cause more tension in the area because once Lwazi marry the King's daughter, he will automatically qualify to a Chief of the area" said an insider.

It has been disclosed through information in our possession that in the midst of the deliberations by the faction of the Maziya that seeks to force Dumsile Mdluli-Maziya out of her marriage, Princess Temaswati would regularly visit Lwazi Maziya at the rented flat in Malkerns driving in a white Porsche car worth over E1million, her new boyfriend drives a BMW X6 registered JSD 550 CM.

Efforts to reach Mbali Maziya proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report, Mbali is the sister to the soccer player leading the Maziya faction that organised a meeting last week where Dumsile Mdluli-Maziya was forced to start the process of terminating her marriage certificate with her husband.
