MBABANE: Julius Malema, the Commander in Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) and former President Jacob Zuma are planning to meet at Nkandla for a cup of tea, News-24 has reported.
The meeting was proposed by Julius Malema through Twitter on Wednesday and accepted by the former President, Malema said its in the best interest of the country for him to meet with Zuma.
"Can we please have tea urgently" said the EFF leader when writing to the former President through Twitter, to which Zuma respond, "Thobela Moshadi. I have seen your request to share a cup of tea. As you know, Nkandla village is home for me and that is where my time is spent these days. Tea I have plenty of, you are more than welcome to come over for a cup".
The communication between the two powerful leaders who were known to be political 'enemies' has triggered a debate within the South African politics on what exactly they intended to discuss in their proposed meeting.
