NOKWANE:Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze allegedly unleashed a battalion of armed soldiers on Monday morning to attack Brigadier General Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini, accusing him of leaking information to Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

Brigadier General Dlamini was attacked along ka-Bhudla-Siteki road on his way to work at Nokwane Army Headquarters and, the brutal attack comes a few days after this Swaziland News reported that, the Army Commander was plotting to attack and grab Dlamini’s cellphones.

This comes after the editor obtained information of a secret meeting last week where the Army Commander was plotting the abduction of Brigadier General Dlamini.

But it has been disclosed that, the Army Commander believed Brigadier General Zenzele Dlamini was behind the series of corruption scandals involving him by leaking information to the editor of this independent online publication.

Dlamini rushed to the police to report a criminal case after the armed soldiers who were traveling in three(3) different cars grabbed and disappeared with his cellphones, senior police sources told editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

Efforts to reach Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, Army Commander Mashikilisane Fakudze has been facing a series of corruption scandals, he was recently exposed by this Swaziland News for allegedly looting over R20million Burial Fund belonging to soldiers.

The Army Commander was also exposed for allegedly owning over two hundred(200) cattle worth R3million being proceeds of bribes paid by members of the public and soldiers seeking promotions.
