MBABANE:Savannah Maziya, the Minister of Information, Communications and Technology(ICT) says Members of Parliament(MPs) must be empowered with Artificial Intelligence(AI) technological knowledge.
The Minister who represented by Principal Secretary(PS) Phesheya Dube, was speaking when officially opening a two-day training workshop for MPs on Artificial Intelligence on Governance organized for their better understanding when debating AI related legislations, Government online platforms reported on Tuesday.
“This workshop is designed to equip you with knowledge needed to debate AI related legislation from a well-informed perspective. You will gain insights into the socio-economic benefits of AI.It is crucial that we promote the ethical use of AI, steering our young people away from unethical practices such as hacking,” she said.
