MBABANE:Citizens across the country normally experience power cuts every after storm with the Eswatini Electricity Company(EEC) struggling to respond urgently thus causing inconvenience for emaSwati.
“Once we experience storm we know that we will be without electricity for weeks, nawubashayela bakutjele kutsi babhekene na-over one thousand(1000) areas labikile kutsi kute gezi”, said a resident at Madonsa-Siyeni area who was speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday.
EEC Spokesperson Khaya Mavuso declined to comment about the incompetence of the State owned company.
Recently, EEC applied to increase electricity however, emaSwati are complaining that the service is becoming more expensive and poor.
