BREAKING NEWS:Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP) successfully approaches Supreme Court, former Public Works Minister Ntuntuko Dlamini’s sentence increased from 20 to 35 years for murder.

MBABANE:Lomvula Hlophe, the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP) has successfully approached the Supreme Court to increase the sentence of convicted murderer and former Public Works Minister Ntuntuko Dlamini.

The former Minister was sentenced to twenty(20) years by the High Court but, the DPP felt Dlamini who murdered three(3) men at LaMgabhi-eBhunya during a dramatic land dispute exclusively reported by this Swaziland News in 2020, “must spend more years in jail”.

The Supreme Court agreed with the DPP and increased Dlamini’s sentence to thirty-five(35) years and the judgement was delivered on Thursday.
