MBABANE:Former National Commissioner Senator Isaac Magagula’s son known as “CeeDee” will soon retire and leave his father who is fast approaching eighty(80) years on gainful employment.
Isaac Magagula was seen this week with other Senators, attending the Leadership Code of Conduct, his will be seventy-eight(78) years old when his current term of Office expire in 2028 and should the King re-appoint him again, his son who is around fifty-five(55) years and working for Government as a teacher, might retire and leave the father working, the former National Commissioner is about to make history.
But the country experienced over five hundred(500) ritual murder cases when Magagula was working as the National Commissioner and, the perpetrators were never arrested thus raising reasonable suspicion suggesting that, Magagula who declined to comment, might be in possession of State secrets.
In 2018, Senator Isaac Magagula, the then National Commissioner was heavily criticized by Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini for keeping quiet while women and children were murdered for alleged ritual purposes.
The then National Commissioner subsequently held a press conference confirming that, the police received one hundred and eighty(180) ritual murder cases and that, they were being investigated.
But information subsequently emerged suggesting that, the cases were actually over 500 from 2008 when Magagula took over as the National Commissioner and, he left Office without any arrest.
Even the 180 murder cases officially confirmed by the then National Commissioner were not investigated and there were no arrests thus raising more suspicion that, alleged ritual murderer in the country might be above the law and all the National Commissioners are then rewarded with positions to keep quiet even after retirement.

Senator Isaac Magagula.
