MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini is suspecting that, Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Mancoba Khumalo is among Cabinet Ministers secretly communicating with Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
After reading a story published by this publication while in Japan-Osaka for the Expo 2025 about two(2) weeks ago, the Prime Minister communicated with a close friend saying;
“NguMancoba lona lowati kutsi ngitfole malini for this trip, nguye lotjele Zwemart”.
The PM was actually commenting about the story where he was accused of pocketing over forty thousand Rands(R40,000.00) per-day for the two-weeks international trips, he first attended the Japan Expo and proceeded to France to represent King Mswati in the United Nations(UN) Ocean Preservation Conference.
According to information leaked to this publication, the PM is also suspecting Information Minister Savannah Maziya and Education Minister Owen Nxumalo of being close to the editor and secretly leaking information.
It has been reported that, the Prime Minister is fast becoming a multimillionaire through public funds, he sometimes receives R2million within two(2) months as international trips allowances depending on the frequency of his travels.
On another note the PM receives over three hundred and sixty thousand Rands(R360,000.00) for each trip and, in some of the trips he normally travels as a representative of His Majesty King Mswati.
But the Prime Minister would sometimes take five(5) international trips in two(2) months and this means, “he receives R2million public funds as traveling allowances”, international trips are “one of the cash cows for politicians within the Tinkhundla Government including the King”.
Acting Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli declined to comment about the matter.
It has been disclosed that, after reading the story while in Japan, the PM started to cast an ugly look at Commerce Minister Mancoba Khumalo, he recently told the Swazi Observer that he will investigate all Cabinet Ministers suspected of leaking information.
Cabinet sources told this publication that, he recently threatened Ministers inside a meting saying;
“Niyati yini kutsi mine ngiyakhona kulalela tonkhe letincingo tenu, ngiyati kutsi nikhulumani”.
