MBABANE:The Piggs Peak Town Council will spend over R9million on salaries this current financial year after the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development approved R27.5 million budget.
During a feedback meeting with stakeholders held recently, the Town Council’s Management disclosed that R9million or least thirty-five per cent(35%) of the entire budget will be used for salaries.
The Town Council will further use R4million of the entire budget in the repayment of loans for the recently constructed roads.
On another note, the Town Council is yet to employ a new Chief Executive Officer(CEO) after the resignation Mzwandile Ndzinisa.
